First, let me say what an amazing project LMMS is! I am quite familiar
with FL Studio and the like, and was looking for an open source
alternative -- and definitely found what I was looking for! On top of
being powerful and easy to learn, it is a great-looking application that
is a pleasure to navigate through. This is an excellent program with a
lot of promise.
That said, I was very excited about using LMMS! I installed the latest
stable version from source, (v0.1.4). It seemed to work perfectly.
However, when removing a track, the entire app closed down with a
segfault. The machine is an Athlon 64 running FC3 (not x64, but x86).
When I attempted to compile the CVS to see if the error had been
addressed in there, the make failed with an error -- unable to find
libstdc++.la, which I couldn't find either.
All the help I Googled for pointed me toward a fix_libtool_files.sh
script that clearly isn't available on my system. I figured maybe I was
looking in the wrong direction. I yum'd up half the Internet trying to
update anything that could have been the culprit, to no avail. Is there
a way to work around this error and get the CVS to compile on Fedora Core 3?
I'm definitely looking forward to getting this minor issue resolved so
that I can really spend some time twisting on these knobs :)
Thanks in advance,
