There was a discussion about this in IRC earlier, but I forgot what the outcome was. At any rate, I agree that we need to support VSTi presets. I'll make sure it happens at some point.

I found out about LMMS a little over a month ago, and appreciate what it is, and what can do. I must admit I absolutely LOVE that someone made it portable (with, but before I can compleeeeetely say I am commited, I have one --"small"-- gripe to mention. Hopefully it can be addressed in a future update.

When one loads a VSTi, the GUI for the VSTi loads, and it displays the standard settings that can be re-arranged to form other sounds. However... in other DAW's... (Acid... Fruity Loops... and the stand-alone client, SAVIHost, for that matter), the option to select one of many pre-set sounds is available, but I'm not seeing that in LMMS. Am I missing something, or does the program not (hopefully this is a --yet--) support it?

I like what you have here, and would encourage you to keep up the good work... I plan to write a how-to with it in the future, to see if I can't get some more people interested in home-made MIDI-ing (badly phrased, but it's the best way I can think to describe it) their own music, and post that to my Xanga, but I can't do that until I know that the presets will work, which would ease a LOT of difficulty in replicating a sound that is achieved easily in other DAWS, without adjusting the individual settings/knobs/buttons of the VSTi.

Again, keep up the good work, and I hope to hear something on the matter soon. --Matt D.
