Ah, that is a reasonable expectation.

I have a question on compiling. The installation instructions say to compile from a "build" directory, but when I did this, lvsl_server.cpp was not able to #include lmmsconfig.h, because lmmsconfig.h ends up in the build folder. I should be O.K. building in the tree, and just using make distclean before creating a patch correct?

Another question, and this one is going to reveal my inexperience with open source: Let's say I check out the latest code, and it takes me a week to create a patch. In the meantime, someone else edits a file that I'm working on and uploads it to the repository. When you apply my patch, how does it not screw up the code? Must go by something other than line numbers?
