I had this problem too on Windows 7 x64.

My work-around was to just switch it.  Didn't seem to need restart.  Probably worth filing a bug if reproducible.

I have a problem.

When I start LMMS and open settings, it says sound is set to Dummy.
I change it from Dummy to Port Audio, and LMMS predictably tells me these changes won't take effect until LMMS is restarted.
I close LMMS down and start it up again, and LMMS is back to being on Dummy again!

What do I need to do to fix this???

All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure
contains a definitive record of customers, application performance,
security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this
data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
