As this was mentioned before I can provide hosting for the site and downloads, but due to limited space we would need to remove the EOL versions from the server. I am leaning back towards using wordpress for ease of use and ease of maintenance for those that arent web savvy in terms of coding. Also they have alot of very nice responsive designs for free. I hope to have a working prototype soon.

From what I understand many projects commit the packages onto repos si direct linking works.

The current process has bee discussed though and seems like it suits our needs for now until we dedicate hosting.

It is rather unfortunate that free services tend to go downhill like this over time, but its just the trend of the internet.

If we want direct links, we pay.  That should be expected this day in age.
