This is the first version with official Windows support making use of the ASIO sound card interface.
I am currently working on the ASIO sound interface implementation so that the Llcon-software can be used together with the Windows operating system. Today, I finished a first working version and tested the software successfully on my Soundblaster Audigy hardware.

a new version of llcon client/server software was just released. The version number is 2.0.0.
This version is compatible to the most recent QT library (which is QT4). No actual new functionality compared to the last release was added.
I just finished the port from QT2 to QT4 (source is in the CVS right now). I thought it would be a fairly easy task but it was a nightmare. I don't know why Trolltech did change that much of the API from version QT3 to QT4 but I guess they have good reasons for that...
Anyway, the port had to be done to avoid being out-dated with the llcon project.
a new version of llcon client/server software was just released. The version number is 0.9.9. Lots of new features are implemented like the possibility to create a separate audio mixdown at each client. The GUI was also changed by introducing a new settings dialog in the client software.
I hope that this new software version will be useful for someone.
With the new release it is now possible to exchange parameters with the server software by a newly implemented protocol mechanism. In this first state, only the jitter buffer size is transfered from the client to the server for getting lowest audio latency.
Additionally, with this new release of llcon, the server software can be started without using any graphical output. It can now be started from a simple ssh terminal.... read more
