Try as I might, I cannot get a Jamulus server to appear in a client connect list. When I go to https://explorer.jamulus.io I can see it listed but not from the Jamulus client. I note also that the port is not the standard 22124. Is that the problem? I try to force the port in startup script with -s -p 22124 but it still appears with different numbers in the explorer.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You are fighting with the capriciousness of the Internet.
It appears that the Jamulus Explorer is getting the data from your server better that your client is.
Sometimes it takes a while for a server to show up. Sometimes servers are down.
Try waiting half an hour and trying again.
That the port changes is because some other program on the computer is already using it. Are you running server and client on the same computer? They can not be using the same port so the second one started will get the port nr changed.
