Consider that receipt of Volume Up (0x80) from a "keyboard" toggle the mute
for my audio stream. I would use an inexpensive ($2.00) remote Bluetooth
camera shutter dongle attached to me or to my guitar to control mute so that
I am not reaching across my guitar and desk for the mouse to mute when
tuning, noodling or figuring out a tune. These devices have two buttons. One
sends "Volume Up" for IOS and the other sends "Enter" for Android as if they
were a keyboard connected over Bluetooth. If you find this worthwhile,
consider making the received code programmable so that page turning pedals
could also be used for mute control.
