Is it possible to feed Jamulus audio into Zoom meeting app

I want to feed the audio output of a Jamulus client into the Zoom meeting app, using the share screen and "use computer audio" features of Zoom. This will let a group of us share our jam with others in the Zoom meeting.

I can get this to work using computer audio from a Web browser. But when I use Jamulus the Jamulus audio is not shared to Zoom.

I am trying this using the Windows desktop Zoom app and Jamulus 3.7.4 on Windows 7. I have a windows 10 PC I can try as well.

Has anyone been able to do this? Is there some fundamental problem doing this with the ASIO interface? I just wonder if it should be possible or if someone has been able to do this before I spend more time on it.

    Thanks,

    Russell

      Hi Russell,
Similar to Fabricer's solution, you can use Voicemeeter (Banana) to route Jamulus output to multiple destinations, for example to your headphones and zoom at the same time.

We did something similar though not exactly this. It's worth mentioning that this adds noticeable delay (for the output), so your Zoom translation will be around 500-1000 ms behind the real Jamulus session.

or if you use Linux you can use pactl to add a jack source and sink and then link this to zoom app. i would suggest to make the link to zoom on a separate computer that is not used by a musician.

You could try Jack audio https://jackaudio.org/ and route the signal through the JackRouter

Thank you both. I will try these suggestions out and report back.

This reminds me - I was going to create a page on the wiki with links to people using Jamulus. So here it is:
