#12 Single thread version of the LIXA libraries
liblixab and liblixac libraries are available only as multi thread libraries; the real names are liblixabmt and liblixacmt.
It may be a specific use case, using only single thread resource managers, could benefit from a single thread version of the LIXA libraries.
As explained in bug 3045668, the single thread version was removed on 2010-08-19 because the current implementation is not able to support both single thread and multi thread without errors.
To release both type of libraries (single and multi thread), a different approach must be followed: the code must be "protected" with many "#ifdef / #endif" and extra checks to avoid a multi thread switch file load must be developed.
The feature will be implemented only after a real use case is fully described and the expected benefits are relevant.
This is just a reminder. Most of the resource managers use multithread libraries, this request for new feature does not seem to be useful...
