Any planned support to handle Windows 7 DD images or is there a work around to do the conversion?
Liveview 0.8 beta added support for Windows 7 and many other items. I am unsure about why 0.8 is not available here. I received beta versions more than 1 year ago in email. CERT has not responded to my emails about this topic. Below are files for 0.8 beta2. The source is available so you don't have to trust the dropbox class files. All files appear to be under the GPL so I see no issue with posting dropbox links.
The zip file is password protected. Can you either provide the password or post a zip without one?
thanks for you, but i want to say you that this version(0.8RC1) of live view doesn't work property. would you help me about this?
You have to install some software before running LiveView.
2.VmWare server 1.0 or VmWare Workstation 5.5+
By the way,if your host OS is Win 7 64bit, you can't use VmWare server 1.0. Under this circumstances you have to use VmWorkstation 5.5+.
LiveView will generate VMX and snapshot from your image file or physical disk,so you have to make sure your VM software works fine.
I use LiveView for a long time. It works fine on my Win xp or Win 7 64bit Host OS, and it can boot 32bit or 64bit guest OS as well.
