Hi. According to the manual I can select an overlap region in Multitrack by
choosing Selection/Snap. However, when I click on Selection, "Snap" does not
appear as an option. I am guessing this is because I have to have snap mode
on. It says earlier in the manual that I can switch it on from the menu bar.
But I am searching in vain for where that option is in the menu bar, i.e. how
I can turn snap mode on. I use version 1.2.1 (for now). Thanks!

    Sorry to confuse you !

As of LiVES 1.2.1 and higher, the menu option "snap to overlap" has been
changed to "select overlap". You will find this as a checkbutton bear the top
    of the interface.

With "select overlap" enabled, you can activate two or more video tracks and
click on the timeline in an overlap area. The start and end points of the
    selection will be adjusted automatically.
