#184 start error

Error message is
lives could not find any renderer effect plukings
please make sure you have then installed in /lives/plugins/effects/rendered
or change the value of <lib_dir>in~/.lives</lib_dir>

lives-exe is istalled usr/lib
how to change value/or what go wrong install progses

i just start my linux operating system......

ubuntu12.04lts
intelcorei5-2500

ssd hard drive
n-vidia display card

Try deleting your ~/.lives file, and then run LiVES again to do a fresh install.

yes i olready try that still not worging
3 times now testing and not worging

Well that is a very unusual error.

Try editing your ~/.lives file and set the <lib_dir> to /usr/lib.</lib_dir>
