Leadtek WinView 601TV Remote Control.

Hi! I have a TV card Leadtek WinView 601TV with remote control. I've
searching the web for lirc support of this card and found nothing, but
I've saw a recent patch send by Juan Toledo for the Leadtek Winfast
TV2000 card wich I think is not very different to WinView. I've saw the
patch and it's very small and simple so I thought maybe I can make a
patch for WinView card.
Since I'm not an expert programmer, and I'm not familiar with lirc, I
don't know very well how to start. First I've made some simple changes
to drivers/lirc_gpio/licr_gpio.c like Juan done for Winfast, but without
know really what I'm doing :-/. Anyway, I'd like to know if there has to
be support for the remote in BTTV drivers for my card or all the remote
control stuff it's implemented in lirc?
Well, as you see I'm kind of lost, so any help would be helpfull :)
