I doubt that if the reciever built into the drive is only connected via the IDE interface that it is likely to ever work with lirc. I was always under the impression that it was built to act like the remote controll for a component cd player, and would act independently of the operating system - maybe i was wrong. I'm not familiar with the Infra product line. It appears that there is at least one version of the Infra reciever that is a serial port device, and that this reciever works with Linux. You could probably use the remote controll with a different reciever, if the Infra drive doesn't have a connection for a serial port. - Eric |
