Scratch that last post. I saw some errors coming in from the debug upon make regarding the spaces in my volume name. So I tried the install from a USB drive where I could rename it safely. And, while that got make much farther along, many warnings and errors popped up still. I'm not sure what the process is to install this thing successfully on Mac, but it has been a total p.i.t.a. for me. And, I'm running out of time to get this project done. I get that IR stuff isn't exactly "sexy" anymore, and Lirc is an open-source project that appears to be no longer developed......but geesh, what a mess to try to get this thing running. Because I seemingly have few other choices, I've ordered an IrToy v2 and may have to re-install Lirc 9.4d via MacPorts, because at least it was successfully running.....even though it could not run my IrDroid device. I'd be happy to use your Java software, but it won't run on this machine for some reason.
