Anyways, I compile lircd myself using: ./autogen.sh ./configure --with-moduledir="/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/misc" --with-driver=serial --with-port=0x3f8 --with-irq=4 make then install. I compile the lirc_serial driver from media_build, and install. Then I start with: sudo setserial /dev/ttyS0 uart none sudo modprobe lirc_serial [[ -d /var/run/lirc ]] || sudo mkdir /var/run/lirc sudo lircd --device="$(ls /dev/lirc[0-9]*)" The only conf I need/have is /etc/lirc/lircd.conf. No hardware.conf, serial.conf, whatever else. |
