Hello everybody, I have question about LIRC config to set up hex codes for my Harmony One remote set as iMon Pad remote, which I had before. I have my HTPC with "IR Einschalter Rev 5" from www.atric.de as serial IR receiver. First I used iMon Pad remote with USB receiver to control Mediaportal, but missed on-off function. With Atric receiver it works, but I was unable to setup WinLIRC and then also LIRC to learn hex codes. In WinLIRC I tried several config files for iMon Pad remote, also I tried to record own config with IRRecord. But I only achieved to have setup for raw codes. When trying to record codes, I always got "Something went wrong ..." message. Then I read in some forum, that LIRC IRRecord is better, so I installed Ubuntu 12.04 under Oracle Virtualbox and after few hours I was able to use mode2 and then IRRecord to record commands. But also only in raw mode. I tried also to use -a parameter for IRRecord, but with no success. The problem is, that with raw codes, it sometimes work sometimes not, I have to push button twice etc. Any idea, what can be wrong? Maybe I should use different protocol in Harmony setup, but what? Any recomendations? I tried MCE Remote profile, but result was the same. Thanks a lot!
