Hi,

I had a deeper look into the code and finally found a solution to get 
the front panel buttons to work. I append the patch for imon.c against 
kernel 3.6.8.

But it is ugly, that the front panel buttons are hardcoded. It is not 
possible to remap keys via ir-keytable. Is there a special reason for 
this hardcoded values? If I understand the code correctly, exchanging 
the call to imon_panel_key_lookup by rc_g_keycode_from_table should do 
the job to specify the front panel keys also in the ir-keytable.
