I'm seeing an extra key down event when I release the key on my remote. 0000000000001795 00 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 01 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 02 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 03 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 04 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 00 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 00 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 01 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 02 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 03 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 04 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 00 Up Hauppauge_350 I tried using the -r option to lircd to generate the release key event and then I got. 0000000000001795 00 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 01 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 02 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 00 Down_UP Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 00 Down Hauppauge_350 0000000000001795 00 Down_UP Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 00 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 01 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 02 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 03 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 00 Up_UP Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 00 Up Hauppauge_350 0000000000001794 00 Up_UP Hauppauge_350 So its a distinct extra key press and I don't believe its related to the kernel generating an extra key press. I checked the kernel with lsmod and no mseusb modules are loaded. I can hold the key down for several seconds and its obvious that the extra key press is generated when I release the key. I've tried several permutations of repeat/delay/suppress_repeat with no effect. Two days of searching has found nothing on this particular problem. I'm using lirc 0.9.0 (I upgraded from 0.8.6) Ubuntu 11.04 Linux 2.6.38-8-generic x86_64 Logitech Harmony 525 Universal Remote HDHomerun sending ir events over ip This was working properly on Ubuntu 10.10 and lirc 0.8.6. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Key-press-event-when-key-released.-tp31573366p31573366.html Sent from the LIRC mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
