Please help - lirc_zilog - no symbol version for lirc_register_driver

Hi,

I had a system crash and had to reinstall my myth system.  This gave me 
kernel 2.6.33.7 on mandriva 2010.1.  I need the lirc_zilog module so 
that myth can change channels.  I downloaded the source to lirc_zilog 
from Jarod's git tree.  I have no idea if I got the right version, but 
it did compile.  It gave me warnings at compile time for the 
register_driver error.

Mandriva 2010.1 uses lirc-0.8.7.

Please help or my wife will have my head! :)
