Hi Jarod,

I just tried this at home and got the following error:

modprobe lirc_zilog
FATAL: Error inserting lirc_zilog 
(/lib/modules/2.6.31.5-desktop-1mnb/misc/lirc_zilog.ko): Unknown symbol 
in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

Dmesg output:lirc_zilog: disagrees about version of symbol 
lirc_register_driver
lirc_zilog: Unknown symbol lirc_register_driver

--- For what it's worth, I compiled the latest lirc-0.8.6 on my host 
before attempting the zilog stuff.  Then I put the zilog tree I 
downloaded from you in /usr/src/lirc-snap_zilog and compiled it.  Then i 
modprobed and got this error.
