Hi all, Recently I did some upgrades and not lirc_serial doesn't want to work anymore, was hoping someone here might be able to throw a bone my way. Running Gentoo 64bit I upgraded to lirc 0.8.4 and then 0.8.5, udev 141, and kernel 2.6.30 (gentoo-sources) and now irw gives no output. I'm using lirc_serial with a homebrew IR, has been working great for over a year now. Lircd starts up fine, creates device/sockets at /dev/lirc0 and /dev/lircd= It use to create /dev/lirc/0 though not it doesn't. DMESG: > lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, major 61 > lirc_serial: in init_timing_params, freq=38000, duty_cycle=50, > clk/jiffy=2999384, pulse=39465, space=39466, conv_us_to_clocks=2999 > lirc_serial: auto-detected active low receiver > lirc_dev: lirc_register_driver: sample_rate: 0 > lirc_serial $Revision: 5.104 $ registered > lirc_serial: type = 0 > lirc_serial: IRQ = 4, port = 03f8 > lirc_serial: share_irq = 0 > lirc_serial: softcarrier = 1 > > irw doesn't output anything and irexec doesn't do anything either. I haven't change any config files and I'm not setting any module params at load time, just using autosense. Thanks for any help. |
