Now, if irw is seeing codes, irsend can successfully send codes to my sky
box, why can't mythtv respond to codes?

I have definitely modified my lircrc to reflect the differences in
lircd.conf, and it is sitting in /home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc

Everyone has read and write permissions to the file, and I have tried
changing ownership of the file between mythtv and root.

Now I seem to remember when I set up lirc 0.7.1, there were references to
lircrc in either mythfrontend or mythbackends log, can't remember which. I'm
not seeing anything there.

I haven't changed anything with mythtv

I will attach my lircd.conf and lircrc files to see if anyone can spot any
stupid errors.

edit: lirc-list informed me the message was too long and would need to be
moderated before being posted, so I decided to cancel my post then truncate
my pasted files and repost.
