lirc.org says if you are having problems, you should compile lircd in DEBUG mode, and there will be an extra switch to select the level of debug messages you will get. I think I've done this (I ticked compile with DEBUG code in the software config section of setup.sh), but I don't see any extra switches relating to debug When I start lircd (/usr/local/sbin/lircd -n --device=/dev/lirc /etc/lircd.conf), all the output I get is "lircd: lircd(usb_uirt_raw) ready" I think there should be more than this, no?
