In my build scripts, lirc_gpio and lirc_parallel are marked as broken, an=
d=20
they have not been compilable since at least 0.8.0.  I do not know whethe=
r=20
lirc_gpio is really the module that you need to use.  If you do, you're S=
OL.

Otherwise, I believe that you can specify, via an option to configure, wh=
ich=20
modules you want to build.  For PVR cards' built in remote, lirc_i2c is t=
he=20
only module you need.
