You will need to dump relevant dmesg and other related output from your system (lsusb/lspci, etc.). When you run lsusb make sure you specify "-vv bus:dev" syntax for getting full dump on actual device. Do an "lsmod" showing relevant loaded modules as well. Maybe relevant info from /var/logs/{daemon|messages}. Does lirc page list support for this chip/vendor specifically? For background...I only got into lirc/myth a few weeks ago...but did get my mceusb Msoft usb/ir dongle working just fine. Had to figure out which version I had, etc. mike Giorgio Moscardi wrote: > Alle 13:35, mercoled=EC 17 gennaio 2007, Giorgio Moscardi ha scritto: > =20 >> Alle 05:09, mercoled=EC 17 gennaio 2007, mklein ha scritto: >> =20 >>> You should just try it...doesn't take long. >>> >>> If you're planning a myth install...you will need these skills... >>> =20 >> Well', I've tried it already with the latest lirc version, 0.8.1, but = it >> doesn't seem supported by any driver.
