Hi, I own one and it does not work with LIRC, up to date only one Linux application that works with USB-UIRT is Misterhouse project. There were some points in this mail list where someone said it works if you change baud rate in uirt2 code, tried it and did not work. The Linux driver (fti..) supports it very well because when using minicom with proper baud rate setup, I can see data coming in very stable patterns. Someone needs to write LIRC driver/interface for it. For now it only works great in windows with girder. ________________________________________ Sent: Monday, July 05, 2004 8:02 PM Subject: USB-UIRT and LIRC Hi. Is anyone successfully using USB-UIRT or a similar emitter with LIRC? I'm interested in purchasing one rather than building my own transmitter and am seeking advice from people who have had success. Thanks, Jim |
