Accent IR receiver.

Hi there,
	I've spent about a week trying different things to try and get lirc to
work with an accent ir receiver and remote control.  The ir receiver
plugs into the serial port, so I've been using the lirc_serial module to
try and get a response - when loading the lirc_serial controller it says
"detected active high receiver", but it says that whether it's plugged
in or not.  I've tried with module options for it's io, irq and sense=3D0
& sense=3D1, none of those option work.
	Does anyone know how to get it to work?
