Since I was not able to configure the 0.6.6 version of lirc driver, I thought I wud write a small program myslef to test the hardware. I do the following in my simple uart program 1. Set the RTS to on so that the IR circuit can work. 2. Set the OUT2 bit to enable interrupts. 3. Set the IER register with 0F to enable all the four interrupts=20 4. Umasked the INT for 0xC in the ICU so that it sends the interrupts to the CPU. I then installed a new interrupt handler for the interrupt 0xC.=20 And on pressing a remote control buttn, there was no interrupt generated!!! But when I tried using comdebug.exe tool, it somehow was detecting my remote control button presses. The 'DCD' text flickered on the screen whenver I press the button. So any idea why my program is not getting the interrupr, while the comdebug.exe tool manages to get them! Thanx Kiran |
