The cvs repository:
does not seem to work. For over a week I've been getting the
following error message with cvs:
cvs [login aborted]: recv() from server cvs.lirc.sourceforge.net: EOF
Though before that I had done a successful cvs checkout, but
now a cvs update or a fresh login with cvs fails. When I changed
the cvs repository to the following, it now works:
The cvs repository webpage though gives the other address. Did
sf recently change their policy on the address used for cvs
accesses requiring you to use cvs.sourceforge.net instead of
cvs.projectname.sourceforge.net? Every project except for
lirc has always used the former address, did the second one
used to be an option until recently? Whatever the case, all I
know is that the address on the cvs repository webpage doesn't
work for me and the other one does.
I sense much NT in you.
NT leads to Bluescreen.
Bluescreen leads to downtime.
Downtime leads to suffering.
NT is the path to the darkside.
Powerful Unix is.
