Corey Quilliam wrote to this list on 2003-11-12 08:38 that he created a patch
to allow the use of _all_ buttons of the Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP remote
In his guide to the installation on http://www.linuxhelp.ca/guides/tvtuner/ he
writes: "We need to fix the problem of LIRC only recognizing some of the keys
on the Winfast TV 2000 XP deluxe remote control."
No my question is: Is that patch in the new version of lirc?
I have compiled lirc 0.7.0 this week and my Winfast remote control works but
with this small problem that not all buttons like the "play", "next", "prev"
and "stop" will work. There the "next" button is for example handled like the
"volume up" button. The irrecord gives them the same 16 bit hex value.
What disturbs me is that I think that these keys did work shortly after
install. I suspect that the debian packages I installed might have change
something. Those packages work with version 0.6.6.
But after removing these things didn't work again.
Any tip? One thing I can do is to take the old 0.6.6 and apply the patch. But
still hope I can go without.
As I am not on the list pleas cc me.

No. Some of the TV 2000 XP cards can't be autodetected. At least I'm not
aware of any method to distinguish them from a TV 2000 card.
You have to set the GPIO parameters manually or find a way to autodetect
