I joined the list yesterday and posted a little early regarding the above=
and a remotec bw6130. I am completely new to all things ird so please exc=
I see that lirc 0.7.2 is now out, so will disregard the bw6130, except th=
presumably, as long as I send at the right frequency I can use other remo=
to send as many codes to the receiver as I want and am not limited to the=
codes included in the original remote?
With regard to the ITE IT8712F lirc 0.7.1x says that this is supported by=
kernel 2.4 only. Is this the case, or does anyone know of a way of gettin=
this working in 2.6.13? Presumably, as an IrDA device this is no use to
me if I want to control the computer with a remote, or is it? It is a bui=
in device on my iDEQ 330p and there seems to be a choice in the BIOS to
enable/disable it by choosing the mode for UART.
Is anyone patient enough to explain these to me?
