Sure. Quite simple, depending how involved you want it. I have mine controlling winamp over the network via the WinampRC plugin, and using a short perl script to connect to my gateway (SyGate) and have it dail/hang-up. Yes, since version 0.6.3 lircd can connect to another lircd running on anouther machine over TCP/IP. That way you can use all applications as if the receiver was connected to the same machine. It does not work for transmitting IR signals until I add support for this to (x)rc. Christoph |
