I bought a pinnacle sys remote today but i cant get it working :/ I'm using Kernel ver 2.2.16 and tried lirc 0.6.1 and the CVS version I get WARNING: timeout reading byte 1 [or 2] every time I press a button on the control :/ I was looking at the code and saw that it sets the serial port to 1200 baud, but my /proc/tty/driver/serial file shows 0: uart:16550A port:3F8 irq:4 baud:9600 tx:5 rx:622 brk:287 RTS|CTS i tried changing the references of 1200 to 9600 baud in hw_pinsys.c but no effect :/ Any tips/tricks/suggestions? What system configurations have people got this working? Or the PixelView, coz its based on that driver. Regards Mark |

Did you have a client running while looking at the proc file? MB> Any tips/tricks/suggestions? Send patches. Sorry that I can't help you, Christoph |
