I'm not an expert on usb communications, but I think the transfers you logged are just to the control endpoint (0) for the enumeration and are handled automatically by Linux... The RW1 remotes also have two endpoints (one inbound, one outbound) and the inbound endpoint is used for the initialization. (I have no documentation on the initialization string. It was copied from the gatos project.) I would suspect that some initialization string is sent to the inbound endpoint when connected or first used. Were you able to capture anything?
