Going back through the list archives, I'm finding some contradictory
sounding info about using lirc with some IR-producing serial widget and
Dish Networks' receivers. I've currently got one of the actisys 200L
blasters, which has been working fine with my motorola cable box, but since
I'm about to move in with my girlfriend and need something to control the
dish receiver she has, I've got two (well, three) questions:
1) Does anyone on the list have an actisys 200L blaster successfully
controlling such a receiver?
2) If not, are there any commercially available IR-emitting widgets which
people do have working?
3) If not, would anyone be willing to snap a closeup picture of their
homebrew emitter for me? My EE skills are non-existent, so the circuit
diagram won't help me out much without something material to compare it to.

Hey -- asked once before, but maybe I was too verbose about it. Does
anyone have a non-homebrew IR device successfully sending signals to a dish
