I have a Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP (the XP is in the product name, but I dont

After some investigation, and by turning on the debug output of lircd, I have
realized, that I have problems with post_data. It was not 0 as was entered to
So I have changed the value in the config file to the one I have seen in the

But the next day I started up my computer, and lirc again did not work. I went
again to debugging, and seen that the post_data is now a different number.
Since I dont want to edit my /etc/lircd.conf every time I boot up my machine
:), I looked at the source of lirc, and disabled the check for the value of
So now it works ok for more than a month.
I'm reporting this, so it could be fixed in a more generic way. (like adding
an option to lircd.conf to disable post_data value checking)
Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Then please correct me. Thanks.
