I'm controlling mplayer with LIRC. Perfect, no problems.
Since this is supposed to be a dedicated DVD and avi player, I want
complete control with a remote; no keyboard or mouse should need be
attached at all.
I'm running LIRC 0.7.0-pre2 with a home-brew receiver.
I am sharing the same keys on the remote between lircd and lircmd. ie
UP key controls panscan in mplayer and mouse up when lircmd is
The problem is that when I activate lircmd with the activate button,
mplayer keeps getting the remote key presses as well. This is bad -
moving the mouse right and left also makes the volume go up and down,
and moving the mouse up and down makes the image go from widescreen to
I would have thought that activating the mouse functions disables lircd
for the duration of the activation.....
Is something screwed in my setup? Any guidance?
2.4.22 kernel, lirc 0.7.0-pre2, mplayer cvs as of maybe a month ago...
