First of all, thank you all for making LIRC this great.
Unfortunately till now I wasn't able to use lirc due to the fact, that
my motherboard doesn't have any serial ports. Then I bought a PCI card
with 2 serial ports and noticed that lirc_serial (0.6.6) doesn't allow
IRQ sharing and my APIC automatically makes my PCI card share IRQ with
my USB controller which I am unable to prevent.
My question is, whether there is any reason for not just changing the
flags in the request_irq line in lirc_serial.c from SA_INTERRUPT to
