I might be too late now, but you can write those commands in the /etc/rc.local file:

sudo vim /etc/rc.local
*add commands to the end*
:wq <enter>

I had some problems to install lirc, but it's working now.

modprobe lirc_serial

And as normal user :

irexec -d
