Do you have a lircrc file for mythtv?

Notice, no leading dot. on lircrc

~/.mythtv/lircrc

/home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc

Example enty:

begin
    prog = mythtv
# Middle button on the diamond
    button = OK
    config = Return
end

Make sure "button" name coincides with what you called it in:

/etc/lircd.conf

i.e.
 Ok                       0x00000000000017E5

Hi folks,
I've been fiddling with lirc for quite some time now until a couple of days back when I installed from CVS...Success at last!!!  I have a Hauppauge PVR-350 working perfectly with MythTV with TV-OUT from PVR-350.  I'm using Slackware 10.2 with 2.6.16.16.  I get hex codes when I press remote buttons with both mode2 and irw.  However, mythtv doesn't respond to any key presses passed on via irxevent.

Before I compiled mythtv with --enable-lirc switch I was still unable to pass anything to mythtv via irxevent hence I compiled mythtv again using --enable-lirc switch.  But mythtv still doesn't respond to key presses.  How would I change different options in mythfrontend using only the remote.  I'm using lircm in X11 as input mouse.

Can anybody explain to me what could be wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
