Hello, sorry for my dumbness, but still I need to understand what's wrong with my
Hauppauge pvr-150 card and new linux kernels with version major of 2.6.33.
My remote doesn't get discovered anymore.I'm using lirc-0.87pre2,kernel
Slackware 13.1 stock.
Until 2.6.32.x kernels ithe remote works fine instead. So I understand, that
something break in new kernels, but I'm unable to figure what it's wrong.
I know about the new lirc_zilog driver, but it's still too hackish for myself.
Someone could  gently give me some advice?

I'm using Slackware 13.1 (64-bit) and had same problem with 2.6.33 series kernels.  Suddenly my hauppauge 350 won't work.  I actually posted on this forum and Jarod and Christoph were kind enough to provide some answers but I couldn't figure it out completely.  Anyway, I always wanted to move away from Hauppauge remotes and use universal remote.  I moved to iguanaIR and radioshack 15-100 remote.  Your situation may be different.  Please search the list archives for "possible kernel oops with lirc_serial" and you'll come across my thread.

Hope that helps,
