I just finished upgrading to Mandriva 2010.1. It looks like they are using a pre-release build of lirc (lircd-0.8.7-CVS[10064]). I'm having trouble with lircd segfaulting when trying to work with iguanaIR. Here is a simple reproduction case. You must have iguanair already running. In one terminal run:

    sudo lircd -n --driver=iguanaIR --device=/dev/iguanaIR/0

In another, run:

    irsend set_transmitters 1

I'm getting an error message:

    irsend: timeout

In the terminal running lircd, I now have this:

    lircd-0.8.7-CVS[10064]: lircd(iguanaIR) ready, using /var/run/lirc/lircd
lircd-0.8.7-CVS[10064]: accepted new client on /var/run/lirc/lircd
    Segmentation fault

Actually, you can send anything to irsend:

    irsend asdf asdf asdf

will cause the same problem. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Jared
