    Hi All.

    I am trying to get Maya 7.0 running on winxp sp2 with the Liquid.mll. It gives the following error.

    waitCursor -state on;                                $ignoreUpdateCallback = true;                        catch( `loadPlugin "E:/Program Files/Alias/Maya7.0/bin/plug-ins/liquid.mll"`);                updatePluginUI( "15" );                $ignoreUpdateCallback = false;                        waitCursor -state off;
    // Error: Unable to dynamically load : E:/Program Files/Alias/Maya7.0/bin/plug-ins/liquid.mll
    The specified procedure could not be found.
    //
    // Error: The operation completed successfully.
    //
    // Error: The operation completed successfully.
    (liquid) //
    updatePluginCallback();

    I am happy to use pixie or aqsis, but I dont seem to be getting the actual plugin running in maya.

    I read here:

    http://liquidmaya.sourceforge.net/liquidwiki/index.php/Installing/Windows

    That "The plugin is linked against Pixie 1.7.1 and Maya 7.0.1, so be sure to be up to date.". Does this mean that the LiquidForPixie.exe will not work with Maya 7.0?

    Also when I try and run the LiquidForPixie.exe installer, it can never find the Maya.env despite where I put it or what I set MAYA_APP_DIR and MAYA_LOCATION to.

      see my other post, should have nothing to do with what its compiled against. Are you using the latest version? (only svn, you have to compile it) Don't have the maya7 one, could give you the 2008 SP1 binaries

      Hi, I tried to setup the env variables you mentioned in your other post, but this one:

      "make sure the path variable is set to the liquid.exe folder" threw me a bit. I dont have any liquid.exe file. The only dll I can find is E:\Program Files\Liquid\displayDrivers\Pixie\liqmaya.dll

      I tried to recompile the latest version, but I ran into a lot of problems.

      I am using visual c++ 2005 express edition.

    Hi there,

    i tested pixie wit maya 2008 Ext 2. but maya always reports:
    // Error:  Cound't get node :-l. There might be multiple nodes called -l //
    // Error:  timeout reached, display driver didn't respond in time. Aborting //

    in the aquis forum they tell it's the liqmaya.dll that's probably missing (http://chat.aqsis.org/index.n?year=2009&month=7&day=26)

    but when i look in my install dir, there is no such path like; %AppDir%\Liquid\displayDrivers\Pixie\liqmaya.dll

    where do i get those displayDrivers?
