Hi,
Hope someone here might be able to help. I've installed linuxwacom on to a hardy ubuntu (edubuntu) install, and the good news is that my bamboo now works, but only in failsafe gnome. If the tablet is plugged in when starting the computer the GDM will not log me in (dumps straight back to GDM login). When I change to a failsafe session it logs me in fine and the tablet works. If the tablet is not plugged in on boot, then no problems in starting a normal gnome session.

I installed according to these instructions:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=765915

which seem to be complete (substituting 8.0-3 throughout), and as I said, it seems to work perfectly in failsafe it is just the gdm crashes if I try to launch a normal session. Has anyone come across this or know what to do?

Thomas

This most likely requires a hardy ubuntu update.
