I cannot get my tablet to work at all with Debian 6.0.6. I'm using X1.7.7 and the 2.6.32-5-amd64 kernel.
First things first, could someone direct me to the specific steps I should be taking for this configuration?
I'd like to know I definitely followed all the correct steps before I start complaining that stuff is broken, haha.
Thanks in advance.
What Wacom tablet do you have? Knowing that helps provide instructions. Also the tablet line in the output of 'lsusb' gives both the Vendor and Product ID.
We just set up a 3rd gen. BambooPT on Debian, see post#1059 here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1515562&page=106
Links for general compiling instructions for input-wacom and xf86-input-wacom are available on the Linux Wacom Project's mediawiki here: https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/linuxwacom/index.php?title=Downloads
HOW TOs for Mint/Ubuntu, which should pretty much apply:
