The best I was ever able to do was to get my 430se to soft-reset. That was with shlo and a kernel I'd hacked to use the "generic" inb/outb functions. I built an uncompressed kernel and pointed the start symbol in shlo.txt at the beginning of the .text segment, but I'm not at all sure that was the right thing to do. -- Joe Knapka "You know how many remote castles there are along the gorges?
