I've already considered eCos since I'd thought about TFTP boot. An initial port for CqREEK SH-4(done by ry...@at...) currently works fine on my own SH-7750 board (I was glad to see your name in eCos' sources :->). But I found it had only one diagnostic serial console and I needed to port or write device drivers by myself, which might be a little hard for me. By eCos I plan to support SCI/F of SH-4(interrupt driven driver), SMC91C96 Ethernet, and possibly framebuffer and keyboard(as a diagnostic console). > However, seeing as I'm still working on fleshing out the porting > documentation (http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/docs-latest/porting/), > and the RedBoot documentation is still a bit rough, asking anyone to > try out eCos/RedBoot has seemed a little premature. I think so. Full documentation is desirable. > But now that you are bringing up TFTP boot capabilities, I thought I > would let you know about RedBoot. BTW, I don't know about RedBoot, where I should go to get it? -- YAEGASHI Takeshi <yae...@ma...> |
