I started looking at that stuff and >rapidly put it on my list marked "Things I hope somebody else does before >I have to" :-) I volunteered because I'd had previous exposure to strace when I wrote autodep (http://freshmeat.net/appindex/1999/05/07/926058334.html) which uses algorithms stolen from strace (and completely rewritten for legibility). However not only had I forgotten how bad it was, but in the meanwhile it had gained linux-mips, linux-arm and linux-s390 ports, all adding extra layers of cruft. Greg. http://www.alphalink.com.au/ |
